Fall Programs:
Learn to Row:
For the novice rower age 13-18. Learn to Row is a 8 week program designed to teach the fundamentals of rowing. A "LTR" rower will learn everything from how to carry a boat to how to take a perfect stroke in unison with their boat mates. Some LTR rowers will be invited to race at our local regatta depending on the level of commitment to the team and rowing ability.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-6:00 P.M. September 6th-October 27
Fees: $195

Junior Varsity:
The junior Varsity team is for rowers with at lease one season or one summer month of rowing experience. Although competitive, the junior varsity team will be focusing on technique and personal improvement above all. The junior varsity team is a great stepping stone from LTR to Varsity for our younger rowers, as well as a great place for rowers who cannot commit to the strenuous five day a week schedule of the Varsity Team. The Junior Varsity team will be competing in the local regatta.

Varsity:
For the most dedicated athletes. The Varsity team will be moving up to the next level this Fall, with a more demanding schedule, higher standards for athletic performance and team commitment. The Varsity team is for the more experienced rowers who have the time and passion to commit themselves 150% to Utah Crew. This fall the varsity team will be racing in Portland, Oregon as well as our local head race at the Jordanelle Reservoir. We may also be sending one men's 4+ to the Head of the Charles if we get the bid. Cross your fingers!

August 29 Varsity Crew starts M/W/F 4:00-6:00 P.M. and Sat. 8:30-11:00 A.M with a Tues. suggested indoor practice from 4:30-6:00 P.M.
August 30 Junior Varsity starts T/TH 4:00-6:00 P.M.
September 5 Labor Day no practice
September 6 Learn to Row stats T/TH 4:00-6:00 P.M.
September 24 Head of the Wasatch at Jordenelle Reservoir 7:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. *For Varsity and Junior Varsity rowers*
October 22-23 Head of the Charles (A potential for one Men's Varsity 4+ to race)
October 27 Last Day of fall season for Junior Varsity and Learn to Row
October 28 Last day of practice for Varsity
October 29-30 Portland Regatta *Travel Race for Varsity Only*
November 5 Fall Banquet location T.B.D.
